Hey all,
I created a group on Facebook for the LAN party so you can receive regular updates on there if you so choose. I tried to invite as many people on my list as I could but many of you can’t receive invitations.
Just go here: Facebook and try to join the group, let me know who you are if I don’t know you that well and I’ll approve you.

August 15th… REMINDER - VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!

See the post below.

Even if you don’t think you need to EVERYBODY update your content licenses.

See this previous post:

Follow the directions. If there’s no possible way that you need to do this, do it anyway. There is absolutely no reason we shouldn’t be playing on the free downloaded maps.

AND TEST IT! Unplug your Xbox 360 from the internet, fire up Halo 3 and try to play on all of the map groups. If it says you can’t load it there’s still something you need to do.

See you Friday kiddos!

Bungie Day 7/7 - Free Map

Filed under: LAN Party, Halo News — John at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 3, 2008

A “new” map, Cold Strorage will be available for free on July 7 (that’s Monday!)
It’s not really new… it’s a remake of Chill Out, one of the best, unrepeated maps of Halo 1.
Also on Monday the price of the Legendary Map Pack is going from 800 pretend dollars to 600 pretend dollars (which I think comes to $7.-something in actual dollars)

So everyone is well informed and can download it whenever the time comes and we’ll ALL HAVE IT (got it?) in time for the next LAN party.

Don’t forget, if the laws of DRM are keeping your from enjoying maps you’ve already purchased offline check the post below and get them back. IF YOU’VE CHANGED XBOXES, EVEN IF YOU CAN PLAY THE MAPS ONLINE YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY THEM OFFLINE!
